GULF MEDICAL COLLEGE enters into an agreement with Faculty of Medicine – Cairo University Egypt.

The Delegates from faculty of Medicine – Cairo University Egypt represented by Prof. Ahmed Sameh Farid – Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Prof Ashraf Hatem – Director General Cairo university hospitals visited the gulf medical college on 10th of November 2007, and met Thumbay Moideen President Gulf Medical College, they were taken for a tour of the facilities and were very impressed by the facilities and the quality of medical education offered by the college GMC.

Faculty Of Medicine - Cairo University and GMCA have agreed to explore their mutual interests in the following areas. Academic Program Development, Curriculum Support, Development of GMC Museums and Specimens, Development of GMC Clinical Skills Lab, Library and Learning Resources Development, Short Term & Certificate Courses, Research Partnerships, Contributions to GMC Health Journal ,Hospital & Clinical Facilities Development, Visiting Faculty & Medical Consultants, Staff Exchange Program, Vocational Training Programs and Students Summer Training

Gulf Medical College is glad to announce the new courses planned to start in September 2008 subject to approval from Ministry of Higher education and scientific Research, The enquiry for the following programs Doctor of Dental Medicine-DMD* Doctor of Pharmacy* - Pharm.D has already started at GMC. The college will introduce a new Fellowship Program in Family Medicine – GMC – RACGP* starting February 2008.
